About me

I am a Postdoctoral Principal Researcher in Operations Management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, working with Baris Ata.

I received my Ph.D. in Data Science in 2025 from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ), where I was very grateful to be supervised by Xinyun Chen and very fortunate to work with Jim Dai. Previously, I received my B.Eng. in Communication Engineering from Nanjing University in 2020.

My research focuses on understanding and controlling congestion in stochastic networks. I develop tractable approximations and mathematical foundations for analyzing network performance, particularly when systems operate near capacity. I also use diffusion approximations and computational methods to design scheduling, routing, and admission-control policies.

with Xinyun Chen, Jim Dai, and Peter W. Glynn

Stochastic Processes and their Applications, 203, 105098, 2027Published online in 2026

Establishes a product-form limit with independent exponential components for scaled SRBM steady-state distributions in a multiscaling regime, verifying the required moment bounds for several classes of reflection matrices.

Uniform moment bounds for generalized Jackson networks in multiscale heavy traffic

with Xinyun Chen and Jim Dai

Mathematics of Operations Research, 51(1), 668–685, 2026

Establishes uniform moment bounds for scaled steady-state queue lengths in generalized Jackson networks under multiscale heavy traffic, verifying the moment state-space-collapse condition needed for product-form stationary limits.
